Book coverIt has been a blessing to hear much of the feedback about the book A Glimpse of the Kingdom and how it has impacted others, but a recent testimony shared with me recently confirmed what the Lord showed me about the book, and is evidence of how one plants, one waters, but it is ultimately God that gives the increase.
This past Sunday, a dear brother approached me after fellowship to share with me that a co-worker of his had a copy of the book.  The co-worker’s father saw the book, picked it up and began reading it.  After reading some of the book, the father asked “where did you get this book from?  This is good!”
This is my objective – to get the book into the hands of those who have a desire to learn more about the kingdom.  The truth is, many people don’t even know they have a desire for the kingdom of God.  What they know is that they aren’t satisfied where they are in their walk right now.  I know this because I was there.  I knew there was more, but I became frustrated because I didn’t know what I was missing, or even how to articulate what I was longing for.  It was the Spirit that provoked me to return to Cincinnati, and it was because I yielded to the Spirit that I put myself in a position to hear the message of the gospel of the kingdom.  Notice that the change didn’t come because I read the Bible more, or because I listened to a popular Bible teacher.  It came because I was obedient to the Spirit of God.  In truth, you can read all of the words in a book, yet never understand the story.  A Glimpse of the Kingdom was written to help you understand the story contained in the Bible.  If you haven’t purchased the book, buy it today!  Go to to order either a paperback or hardback edition.  And when you purchase the book, order two so that you can bless others!  This is how the gospel is spread – we freely give to others that which we have received.

Book coverI was blessed to open my email and receive these comments from a person who recently purchased A Glimpse of the Kingdom at a book signing:
“It was inspiring, thought-provoking, and enlightening all at the same time.  I applaud your persistence in never giving up on the vision gifted to you to research this information, I applaud your determination never leaving the ‘ifs’, ‘ands’, or ‘but’ questions hanging unsolved, and I applaud your courage having the guts to do the work needed to disseminate these unasked questions to an audience hungry to learn about our Lord, the Kingdom and how we fit in.

“Your demeanor and teaching style says you walk by Faith and you send constant praises to the Lord no matter where you are or where you go.”

The reader went on to say “as I was reading your book at my church one of the senior participants asked if they could borrow the book and read it.  Hopefully, the seed you nurtured while writing this documentation will strike a heart-touching moment and allow a venue of asked questions concerning our kingdom and our destiny.  I thank you for reaching out to us, individually, and empowering us with new questions to research.  Prayer for a blessed life to you and your family.”

Book cover“First and foremost, God is a king.  Nowhere is this more explicit than in Malachi 1:14 – Cursed is the cheat who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but then sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the Lord Almighty, “and my name is to be feared among the nations.” (NIV) God has always been a king, and his kingdom has always been in existence.  When God created the heavens and the earth, he created them while seated on his throne in the kingdom of heaven.  Additionally, God is unlike any other god or king, because he is a God of righteousness. This attribute of righteousness is unique to God alone.  There are no other gods that possess this attribute.  It was always God’s intent to inhabit his kingdom with people, and by his grace he chose Israel to be the people to whom the kingdom would be revealed. This is what the entire Old Testament is about – God promising his people, the nation of Israel, that a kingdom will come. ”

There is a truth that cannot be denied, and that is this: you are subject to whatever rules you.  Here is a short excerpt from the book A Glimpse of the Kingdom:
“If we are not willing to subdue our bodily passions, if we are ruled by our own desires or emotions, if we constantly yield to the temptation of satisfying self, we will learn in due time that our eternal citizenship will be with the kingdom that we habitually yield to.”
What is it that you are habitually yielding to?  What thoughts occupy your mind?  What consumes your time?  The answers to these questions will help you discover what is ruling you.

towerLuke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

“You can’t move forward until you finish that book.”  These were the words my wife spoke to me this past summer.  They aggravated me, because I knew what she was speaking was the truth.  I began writing the book, but I hadn’t finished it.  I had all kinds of excuses why I had not finished what I started.  But, when I pondered my wife’s words on a deeper level, something even more hurtful was revealed to me.  I wasn’t just holding myself back, I was holding others back as well.  I had important information in me that was not being shared with others.  In short, I was being selfish with the information I had pertaining to the kingdom of God.
Rom. 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
There are people, eager to learn about the kingdom of God, and they are waiting for the sons of God to reveal the good news of this kingdom.  In other words, they were waiting for my obedience in order that they may live.
Then, one day at our fellowship, the Lord spoke to the fellowship very clearly.  He said we were moving in a new direction.  I didn’t know the fullness of what that meant (indeed, I am still seeking that today), but I knew part of that new direction involved this book A Glimpse of the Kingdom.  Once I finished the book, then the Lord would direct my path in showing me how I, and our fellowship, would need to proceed.  What I learned from that experience is that this walk of faith was foretold by the children of Israel when they were in the desert.  The journey must be taken one step at a time, and one day at a time.  His direction is for us the manna from heaven.
Why am I sharing this with you today?  Because you have a tower to build as well.  This is not a tower of  personal achievement; rather, it is an instruction from the Lord himself that will facilitate the gospel of the kingdom being shared with those around you.  What strategy has God given you?  What tower is he expecting you to build?  How will the good news of the kingdom of heaven be revealed through you?  What obstacles are prohibiting you completing your assignment?  These are the questions that need to be answered in order that you may finish the tower God has assigned you to build.  Make no mistake – you have a tower to build!  Remember, there are people in the earth eagerly waiting for you to manifest the kingdom of God in their lives.

12189642_10207861272279269_1783680335148987763_nWe are blessed to announce that the book is finally published!  Here is today’s excerpt from the book:
“When you see the term “kingdom of heaven” in the Bible, it is a term used to describe where the kingdom is located.  When you see the term “kingdom of God,” it is used to describe who it belongs to.  It would be similar to asking a person where they live.  The person could say “I live at 1460 Tyler St.,” or the person could say “I live with my father in his house.”  The former describes where the house is located; the latter describes who owns the house.  It is important to note that the terms “kingdom of heaven” and “kingdom of God” are two different descriptions of the same kingdom – the former describes the location; the latter describes ownership.  God did not promise Israel more than one kingdom.  All who believe that Jesus is the Christ, or Messiah, and submit to His authority are citizens of the kingdom of God.”

Email us at to place your order for either a paperback or hardback edition.  The price is 15.99 for paperback and 24.99 for hardback.  The price includes shipping and handling.  If you are seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then this book is a must for your library!

Today, we read an excerpt from the upcoming book “A Glimpse of the Kingdom”:

“God, however, is not a God that desires to coerce anyone into loving and obeying him.  God wants the heart of a person; or in this case, the heart of a nation.  Think about that principle for a moment – what mother, who carried a child in her womb for nine months, and then fed and provided for the child, would not want the affection of that child?  What father would not want the love and admiration of his children?  What husband would not want to be revered by his wife?  Likewise, God desired to be loved and honored by the nation he chose out of all the other nations in this world.”

Just as God desired the affection and love of Israel, Christ desires the love and affection of the church.  How do we show that love and affection?  Through our obedience.  “If you love me, obey my commands.”  The true church should be striving to unite, not divide.  There is only one bride Christ Jesus is returning for – the unified church.  May the spiritual church endeavor to be one.

Book coverThis is an exciting time!  The book “A Glimpse of the Kingdom” is in its production stage, and will be available for purchase soon.  This book is both very simple and very challenging.  It is very simple to read, as it is not an academic book, but it is challenging because much of the information contained in the book opposes what is traditionally taught in organized religion.  In short, you will have to renew your mind to the truth that neither the kingdom of God nor the Bible are religious.  They are both governmental.  If, however, you are willing to submit yourself to Christ’s imperative to “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,” then this book is an absolute must read for you.  In this book you will discover:
– What is this kingdom that Christ commands us to seek
– How Christ explained this kingdom in His parables
– How this kingdom is explained in the Old Testament
– What the true message of the gospel is
– How we are to live on this earth as citizens of the kingdom (no, we do NOT have dual citizenship!)
Be sure to reserve your copy now by sending your name and contact information (address and e-mail) to  Please include if you prefer a hardback or paperback edition.  The cost of the book is $24.99 for hardback, $15.99 for paperback, and $3.99 for ebook.  Many have asked for an autographed copy of the book.  Please indicate if you would like one in your email.

Thank you for all of your support in sharing the gospel of the kingdom to all of the world!

death-of-selfToday’s devotional is a quote from the upcoming book “A Glimpse of the Kingdom” –

“If we are not willing to subdue our bodily passions, if we are ruled by our own desires or emotions, if we constantly yield to the temptation of satisfying self, we will learn in due time that our eternal citizenship will be with the kingdom that we habitually yield to.”

The objective is not to live the way we want to here on earth and expect to be united with Christ after we die.  The objective is to be united with Christ here on earth by dying to self now.

Book coverA quote from the soon to be released book A Glimpse of the Kingdom – “When we read the words of Christ, we must take heed to process those words spiritually and not carnally or intellectually.  Apart from being born again, we are incapable of processing His words spiritually.  This is why we must be born of the Spirit.  Being born again is not something that we can do to or for ourselves.  Being born again is not a matter of will.  It is a work of God through the Holy Spirit.”
